Please Note: The least amount of clothing someone will have on are pasties and panties. If you are hiring us to perform in your venue, check your local ordinances. It's up to you to know your local decency laws. We're happy to modify our act to suit (which usually means stripping down to bras and panties), but you need to let us know in advance. 

Burlesque is so much more than pretty people taking their clothes off...and so are we.

At any Boston Babydolls performance you're likely to see magic, comedy, juggling, hula hooping, singing, stilt walking, sword swallowing, contortion, aerial work, or any of a wide range of circus, cabaret, or sideshow skills. We also perform what we call "straight dance" numbers, which are dance routines which don't involve striptease. These are everything from tap to bellydance to swing dance.

Every once in a while, for the right audience, we do shows which don't involve striptease at all — so bring the kids! (Although, we gotta say, we tend to agree with author Rachel Shteir, "Burlesque without striptease is like a salad without lettuce").

The Boston Babydolls can put together a themed show from 15-minutes to two hours to suit any need or event. Below are some suggestions of popular motifs that we have done in the past.
