Planning a bridal shower, bachelorette party, birthday bash, or girls' night out? Spice things up by adding a little burlesque lesson to your party! Every one of our Burlesque Parties is designed around the bride-to-be or birthday girl with the goal of providing a unique and memorable celebration. You're the star of the show and the center of attention, but each of your guests can look forward to a fun and sexy time that she'll never forget!

Our typical party is 90 minutes long, but any Burlesque Party can be customized to your perfect length. Our experienced instructors can adjust the "heat" of the lesson from tame to tempestuous to suit your needs.

Your guests will learn all of the burlesque essentials: bumps, grinds, shimmies, tassel twirling — everything you need to know in order to put on a special private performance.

From gloves to garters, the secrets of the classic stripteaser are revealed to you. Learn to remove clothing in your own personal styles... in a way that's sure to leave your audience begging for more!

Your party takes place at The Boston Academy of Burlesque Education (119 Braintree St., Allston, MA 02134). Close to the Mass Pike, the "B" branch of the green line, and several bus routes, B.A.B.E. is easy to get to and has plenty of free parking. Our luxurious studio can accomodate up to 20 guests. If you've got a bigger party than that, we can arrange for a larger location for an additional cost.

Note: we do not charge your credit card. Once we have confirmed your date and time, your credit card will be used to secure your reservation. Our minimum is 4 paid guests, and if we have that minimum, the bride-to-be is free. To book your party we require a non-refundable, non-transferable deposit of our minimum cost ($220.00). You can pay for your party at the event with cash or a check – or just leave it on your credit card, of course.

Contact Person is the person we'll be talking to about the party (probably the person filling out the form). Please make sure we have complete and accurate contact information.

Guest of Honor is the person for whom the party is being thrown; i.e., the bride or the birthday gal.

Date Requested Please let us know what day and time you want your event. We'll do our best to accomodate requests, but not date is guaranteed until we confirm it. The more notice you give us, the better chance you have of getting the exact day and time you want. Please check our calendar to make sure that the studio is available.
